About Me
I'm Gagan — a Senior Software Engineer with 7 years of experience building event-driven microservices and cloud-native platforms. I work primarily in Go, Python, and TypeScript, and I'm happiest when I'm designing systems that are clean, reliable, and easy for other engineers to work with.
Most recently at G2, I built Forge — an AI agent platform that automates the full Jira-to-deployment lifecycle for engineering teams using LLM orchestration and MCP knowledge graphs. Before that, I spent nearly four years at Gartner leading the re-architecture of a revenue-critical CRM — migrating it from legacy PHP to Go across 21 microservices and 49+ Lambda functions.
I started my career at GlobalLogic, where I shipped 3 products to GA and earned a Spot Award along the way. I've worked across the full stack — from writing Kafka consumers and Terraform modules to building Next.js frontends and Playwright test suites.
Outside of work, you'll find me on a football pitch, watching a match, or planning my next trip. I'm a lifelong Barcelona fan. I also tinker with side projects, explore developer tooling, and think about how to make engineering teams ship faster.
Built Forge — an AI agent platform that takes Jira tickets through a 9-phase lifecycle using LLM orchestration and MCP knowledge graphs. Leading Gartner disentanglement across 4 repos. Architected entity catalogs and built on-call runbooks for the data platform.
Led end-to-end re-architecture of a revenue-critical CRM from PHP to Go and Python — 1,150+ commits across 21 microservices, 49+ Lambda functions. Built billing modules, scoring systems, and conversion pipelines with Kafka, SNS/SQS, and Terraform.
Shipped 3 Go/Python products to GA. Built custom Elastic Beats modules for multi-cloud data ingestion from AWS, GCP, and Azure. Automated CI/CD pipelines reducing manual QA by ~10 hours/week.
Built Docker and Docker Compose pipelines for containerized testing. Contributed to Jenkins CI/CD automation.
